the process
Once you feel called to Kambo, we will do a short interview to discuss the process and talk about medical and social history.
Kambo is administered traditionally by way of a Spiritual Ceremony holding the spirit of the medicine in reverence and gratitude. The Ceremony lasts about 1.5-2 hours.
Right before and at the start of the ceremony you drink 1-2 Liters of water. As Kambo draws toxins into the stomach and intestines, water acts as the vehicle to carry out the toxins and facilitate the process of purification through purging. As biological beings water is our first medicine and we should regard it as such.
Kambo works well with intention. Intention is the power to create and manifest a life of unlimited potential and to attract into your life the right people, places, circumstances and experiences for your own personal growth and evolution. We talk about intention and what is it you would like to heal and determine our focus of connection with the medicine.
The only safe way to administer Kambo is through the epidermis. It is introduced into our body by way of small painless burns on the skin called “Gates”. Once introduced through the Gates Kambo immediately enters the body via the lymphatic system scanning the ENTIRE human vessel, even crossing the blood-brain barrier. The medicine works on where it is needed the most.
As the DNA imprint of the frog enters our body it gifts us with the abilities to dissolve energies that cause damage and dis-ease to the body, mind and spirit. Once free of the dense energies, it is common to see physical, emotional, and energetic balance and alignment restored.
The medicine is left on the skin for 20 minutes. Initially you feel heat overcome your body, ringing in your ears, your heart pounding, and you will feel sick during the process.
Mentally, physically, emotionally, and energetically we hurt ourselves with thoughts, words, and actions. We hurt ourselves by what we put into our bodies and the situations we put ourselves in or the circumstances we stay in to avoid being uncomfortable, holding us back from growth and opportunity. We hurt ourselves by believing in limitations and allowing oppression to rule us.
It is not the Kambo that makes you sick.
Kambo activates and works with your body to release the toxins, damage, and imbalances that you have already done to yourself. What you experience is the release of the physical, mental, emotional, and energetic damage you have inflicted upon yourself or the damage that has been imprinted by others. The medicine draws out the illness allowing you to purge it out. Depending what is being released it is common to have different experiences with each session.
After the 20 minutes is up, the medicine is removed, and we reflect on the experience. Dragons Blood, a natural antimicrobial Amazonian tree sap is then placed on the burns to seal the energies we wish to integrate into our lives.
Traditionally, 3 sessions are done in a lunar cycle of 28 days for maximal benefits and transformation.
